Methods of heating the water
Economical ways of heating water include heat pumps. If the house is already fitted with a heat pump, you can in most cases connect the existing installation to the swimming pool. Heat pumps ensure uniform heating and warm water regardless of the weather.
Electric heating is easy to install and works trouble free. However, this is not an economical solution, because of high electricity bills.
Solar energy and solar cells is just another method, which unfortunately is dependent on good weather. Usually, the availability of energy does not correspond to the demand.
In most cases, however, it is enough to invest in a roof over the pool. The swimming pool roofs are made of especially designed aluminium sections and plastic boards with apertures, which very well keep warmth and which prolong the swimming season. If you want to have a swim in winter, heating system will be required. The possibility of connecting the heating is an important thing, which you should take into account when purchasing as filter.
